• No wigs, fixed hairstyles, or tightly secured hair (e.g., buns, slicked styles)
• No products on the scalp (oils, sprays, gels)

This ensures optimal treatment results and avoids delays in your service.

At this time, we are unable to perform Head Spa or scalp treatments on clients with:

• Braids
• Locs or Dreadlocks
• Twists or Cornrows
• Box braids
• Matte hair
• Synthetic or sewn-in styles

These styles limit our access to the scalp, preventing us from delivering the deep cleansing and therapeutic benefits our treatments are designed to provide.
💡 Tip: Many clients with protective styles schedule their Head Spa during their maintenance period when their hair is free—and experience amazing scalp health benefits!

Unfortunately, we do not offer Head Spa treatments for clients with hair extensions. The deep cleansing and water pressure may:

• Loosen tape-ins or bonds
• Cause tangling
• Prevent us from treating the scalp properly

✨ We recommend booking your Head Spa during the time your extensions are removed to support healthy regrowth and scalp balance.

Professional hairstyling is not included. After your treatment, you may choose one of the following options:

• Self-service hair drying station
• Complimentary braid
• Add-on professional blowout (available for an extra fee)

Please wear comfortable clothing. We will provide a treatment gown for your session to ensure your comfort.

We recommend that you avoid wearing jewelry. If you do, please keep your items with you. Nika Scalp & Skin Ritual is not responsible for lost or misplaced personal belongings.

We welcome pregnant clients and are proud to offer relaxing and gentle treatments with informed precautions. If you're pregnant,  we’ll customize the treatment to meet your needs and ensure every product and technique is safe and gentle. For clients in their third trimester, we do not recommend treatments due to the prolonged laying position, which may cause discomfort or restrict circulation. High-risk pregnancy or medical concerns?
